We finally got to get the garden going this past weekend. We put in almost a full day’s work before the rain came, which was perfect timing. We didn’t get everything done that we wanted to, we still have 6 more small vertical gardens and the root vegetables to get done, which will happen in a couple weeks when we get back to my parents place in Frederick. Yesterday we turned the garden again and added more leaf grow and we got some of the greens in. We are doing vertical gardening for the first time too, so we constructed 10 5 foot silos from metal fencing. We got 4 of them in the ground with squash and beans, the rest will go in on our next visit. Below is a couple photos of the silos as well as some other from the weekend.
